I surveyed 23 trusted friends for their opinions on the “best” restaurants in Atlanta. But how does one quantify the “best”?
We broke nominations into three different categories:
- Overall favorite
- “Chill” – under the radar, hidden gem, a true dive
- “Fancy” – anniversary, birthday, parents visiting town (and likely paying)
I then tallied up the number of times each spot was mentioned, earning a star for each occurrence. Voila! We have a winning list. In total it is 70 restaurants. I am a bit disheartened to see I have only been to 18 of them.
I will say it is quite interesting to see how people categorize places, especially when a restaurant ends up with multiple tags. Shoutout to Rumi’s Kitchen for landing all three.
