A New Era of PSB

Hello old friends and welcome new ones!

It was time this blog was revived.

Why do you have a blog in the first place?

For those just joining now, this blog used to be a collection of side projects, annual reading lists, and travel pics. In four and a half years, I managed a whopping eight posts. Few of which I feel were particularly compelling reads.

The whole purpose of this blog is to update friends on my life and thoughts. Since I left all social media over six years ago (woo hoo!) I wanted this to serve as my main outlet to share things.

What the hell were you up to all this time?

I apologize that years have passed since my last few posts. To be honest, I got bored with it.

I would still work on projects, but they would fail or fizzle out and I would never sit down to do detailed write-ups on them. Soon I may write a post about all the abandoned projects along the way.

Add in two years of grad school, traveling, and a series of internships, and you can see why my attention was elsewhere.

Now I want to bring this blog back to life and use it as a way to keep in touch with friends, professors, and mentors across the globe.

What will PSB 2.0 look like?

This revised blog will be leaner and meaner. My goal is to share updates and blurbs, not write long pieces.

I would love to average a post once a month. This could be milestones and big life updates, side projects and new ideas, or just a monthly update on hobbies and interesting readings. Simple things!

I have scrubbed all old articles from the site with the exception of two legacy posts I thought I would keep around. I also gave the site a much needed new coat of paint.

As always, nothing about this blog is “secret” and can happily be shared. I more so call it secret because I don’t promote it broadly and invite only those who I greatly admire.

What do I (the reader) need to do?

Please subscribe via email so that all new posts get sent to you! Otherwise, it defeats the entire purpose of updating you.

Read (if you want) when I post.

Text or email me with your thoughts, critiques, or links you want to share. This is not intended to be just one sided.

Thanks for being here! Excited for PSB 2.0.

Cheers,
Peter
